| - I always thought mead was a very thick, slightly fizzy, overly sweet drink. The kind of drink you would drink out of a mug carved from a ram's horn. And for some reason, I always imagined it tasting like peach.
It is none of those things. Not at Bos, anyways.
My first visit I was trying ALL OF THE MEADS! Or most of them, anyways. I tried the cherry mead at the Old Fashioned, and fell in love with it. So, off to Bos I went! On that first visit, I had two flights, and I tried all except the black pepper mead.
I'm not a mead expert, so I can't provide you with detailed assessments of each one, but I loved them all for different reasons. And I really loved the amazing convo we had with the staff. Very friendly, and very knowledgeable people. They really make the experience great.
My most recent visit had me drinking the limited edition Lords of the Trident mead, Mead with Power, which you must go try. It is so good--my favorite thus far, actually.
I highly recommend Bos Meadery--don't feel intimidated if you know nothing about mead. It's a great experience for both the mead newbie and the aficionado.
