  • My first AYCE sushi experience since moving to Las Vegas was Sushi Koma. Don`t ask me exactly what rolls I ate, because I have no idea, but I will say that this place is good for a few reasons. 1. I like small places that get filled up around lunch. That, to me, means that this place has a following and that it is worth trying. As soon as my friend and I sat down, people started to flow in and it got cray cray real quick. 2. They do not overdo the rice! Thank you! There is nothing worse than getting a sushi roll or order of nigiri and having a mini bowling ball of freakin' rice to eat. You fill up to quick and you start to question your life decisions after too much sushi rice. 3. Their flavors are on point. What I mean is that sometimes I go to sushi and a roll is either too sweet or too spicy or too something. Nope. Pretty balanced here. Also, I feel like their roll sizes(long and hand....heh)are good. Not too overwhelming and ugly but also not too small and unsatisfying(it's important to be satisfied, people). I know for sure I ate their green mussels, which I thoroughly may consider marrying because they were so good! Also, another contender for my heart was the cajun albacore nigiri. I could seriously just eat that and be happy for a meal. SO GOOD! Try it and thank me later. Oh! Their salmon skin roll also; delicious, salmon skin bacon that I want in my mouth all the time. We've explored the good, now let's touch briefly on the places that need improvement and basically it is that the service can be a bit slow and disorganized. I was expecting to get "the sheet" that you usually get at an AYCE sushi place, but instead I got "the server" who had to take down an order each time and it was just a slight annoyance on my part because I`m used to just filling out a sushi sheet and sending it on its way instead of having to verbalize each thing I want to order. Minor, but something to think about. Overall, I want to come back here. AYCE lunch was like $22, which I think is alright considering the quality and amount of choices. Side note: The staff was very friendly, but just a bit all over the place. Go here and get all the fishies in your belly.
