  • I love a good cup of coffee. Finding myself in Cleveland I was surprised to find a variety of coffee shops besides your basic Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. I made my way to Erie Island Coffee after a recommendation from a bartender and ordered my usual latte. I've had many a latte on my search for good coffee wherever I may be and was not too impressed. Overall it was decent but the coffee taste was masked mostly by the milk and I felt I needed another coffee about 2 hours later. Perhaps it was the higher expectations I had going in due to the recommendation but I was definitely disappointed. One thing i did appreciate was that the wait time for a hand crafted drink was pretty minimal.
