| - The first time I came here, we really lucked out. It wasn't busy and everything went smoothly. This second time that I came here, it seemed like everyone in the Montreal area just discovered this spa.
We had to wait 1hr and 30mins in the waiting/reception area-bring your work, novel, memoirs with you to pass the time. There must've been at least 30-40 people waiting.
We finally got in, but of course the locker room was also packed. I needed to take a number 2 in the one bathroom stall, but there was no toilet paper and the toilet didn't flush! It was like being in Cuba, but within Canada! Needless to say, I held off on doing my business.
The thermal water treatments were good as usual, but it's annoying that there's only one jacuzzi where we're permitted to speak. We where shushed in the other facilities. Heck, I was even shushed in the talking jacuzzi- it's a spa, not a library, church, or Buddhist temple!
The jacuzzi needs floor lights, especially at night. The facility desperately needs to expand because they clearly cannot keep up with demand.
The restaurant needs to be seriously audited because the food is one star with a five star cost. Tim Hortons makes better coffee!
When checking out, we encountered a mass of confusion. The lines for checking in and checking out had merged into some disgusting blob of humanity. This process needs to be more organized. It took me about 25 mins to check out (plenty of time to fill out their survey). With 3 hrs until closing, there was 40 people waiting in the reception area.
Before coming here, have a good solid meal, take a satisfying dump and bring all the patience you can muster. And don't forget- shush!!!
