| - I have been trying to get customer service on the phone for days. My camera system was turned off for about 10 minutes, and when I restarted it, the cameras weren't working. But, I can't get help on the phone. The last time, I waited for and hour and a half, until hey closed shop without ever answering my call!!! Horrible choice.
I finally figured out the problem with my camera system on my own. But in the meantime, I tried to contact customer service 9 times for a combined wait time of about 6 hours.
The technical support problem is very unfortunate because the images produces by the Lorex are crisp, colorful and really clear, and the cameras are pretty easy to operate. They record fairly well, although there have been more than a few gaps and delays in recording action. But, Lorex really does need to add some accessible customer service reps. I dread the day when something goes wrong, again.
12.18.17: A Lorex representative contacted me a few months ago, via my email account with yelp! He said they were working on improving their customer service when I posted this complaint. He provided me with a new number to call, as well as his email address. I plan to call sometime after the holidays. I have already added an alarm system to supplement the camera system, due to missed recordings, because at night, the Lorex camera system was only recording the activities of my bright-white cat and moths.
