  • Wow. I'd forgotten just how dismal the food is at the Molson Brewhouse. This time I was passing through and decided to stop in to order off their breakfast menu. I don't know the last time I've been so disappointed by food served in an airport terminal restaurant. My breakfast came with two eggs, some texas toast, a sausage, and fried potatoes. The eggs were runny. The toast wasn't 'texas' sized, and didn't come pre-buttered. It also wasn't hot enough to completely melt the butter that was served with the meal. The sausage was lukewarm, shrivelled, and generally not something that I'd serve to someone that I disliked. While the potatoes weren't terribly warm, they were the best part of the meal. Think about that: the deep fried potatoes were the best part of the meal. I also ordered coffee, which came in a large mug. It was hot and unexceptional (other than, unlike the rest of my meal, it wasn't bad). Service was acceptable, if not prompt. I wouldn't want to stop here for a meal if I was worried about catching a flight. There weren't any power outlets that I could detect (outlets generally seem to be lacking in the airport): don't plan to eat at the Brewhouse while powering up your gadgets. So, with all this said, can anything good be said for the Brewhouse? While, the coffee was filled promptly. And the portions are large. Unfortunately, as noted before, you won't really want to eat those portions. And you can get better coffee from the Starbucks outside of the Brewhouse's entrance. Verdict: Avoid.
