| - Oh my, now I can say I have truly lived because I have experienced all the Vegas cheesy cliches in my lifetime.
Cheap buffets: check
Penny slot machines: check
Losing track of time: check
Male Strip Show for a bachelorette party: check
I don't know what I thought I was gonna see. I went in with zero expectations. I was with a large group of ladies who were ready to be rowdy, with a fist full of dollar bills in hand. There was some sort of mix-up with our seating and VIP status...so we got stuck in the back of the room in booths whose views were obscured by pillars. To their credit, they did try to make peace by sending us a round of shots for free.
By the way, all this takes place in the Hooters Casino bar, the ultimate in tacky Las Vegas commercialization.
It's ok I suppose, because there wasn't a whole lot to see. You know why? Because the Men of X never got naked. That's right, if you're lucky all you're going to see are a few hot buns. If you want sausage, hit a buffet.
Sure the small crew of men were hot, tanned, with chisled abs, nice buns...but the dance choreography was just silly and the show in general was so predictable. Really? A fireman in full gear suggestively holding a fire extinguisher? A cop...with a baton, you get the idea...
Apparently as a bride-to-be, part of your rites of passage is getting straddled on stage by a male dancer in front of all you friends...and how many references can there be to...oh, never mind. At this point I just felt as if my intelligence had been insulted. Perhaps I should have shown up drunk out of my mind.
Save your singles for the casinos girls.
