  • Food is adequate. The USO sponsors meals for families of deployed soldiers twice a month, once at the Cannery, and once at Aliante's buffet. I participated last month. I had pizza, pasta, salad, and ice cream. Everything was average, like you'd expect of a buffet, but still delicious. The dessert area was awesome, as they had several cakes, pies, and cookies, plus a soft serve machine AND about 12 flavors of ice cream served from behind the counter, to choose from. I'm not sure I would pay to go back there, unless I was at Aliante for some reason other than this monthly event, but it wasn't half bad. Service was impeccable for as jam packed as it was.
