  • I was craving ice cream when we drove into Las Vegas and found Kate's Corner got good reviews. So we followed Google Maps and discovered it in a casino south of the Strip. Despite looking like a fast-food place in a casino food court, I found the server to be very friendly and fast, and the banana split, which ended up being my dinner, was very good. It was a standard banana split I'd get an an old-fashioned soda fountain, which is what I was hoping for: banana; vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream; chocolate and pineapple topping; whipping cream; nuts; and three cherries. If I could change one thing it would be to offer a choice of ice cream flavors.
