  • This was quite possibly the biggest let down I've ever had where food is concerned. My boyfriend hyped this place up so much saying there was nothing better than a hot dog from here.. but he hadn't been here in 10 years. Once I got the Windy City #1 hot dog I expected it to be the best thing on the menu because thats what the place is called, I was sorely mistaken. Everything was mushy and the hot dog tasted boiled, the only thing with a crunch was the pickle and that's all I could taste was pickle. Nothing looked fresh, the bun in fact looked like a corpse and fell apart like one too. In all honesty I could find a better hot dog at circle K. The best place to go is Steamie Weenie if you want a hot dog done right.
