  • No matter how many kind reviews have been written about this Montreal institution in the past, it's worth adding on if only to mention their remarkable consistency through the years. My wife and I come here around New Years once a year, and it always manages to exceed expectations. Food, drink, service, and ambiance are all impeccable. It's the kind of place that makes other restaurants within their price range look bad, as it really sets the bar high for fine, yet casual dining. This is what treating yourself to a nice meal should be.
