| - I am really disappointed in the service department at this place. I feel we were totally screwed. The original tires on our Infiniti only lasted about 30,000 miles. We took the car in for routine maintenance and were told we needed new tires on our vehicle. After having them give me a price on the new tires, I told the rep we would call Discount Tire and get a second quote. The price of the tires was about the same as DT, but we were told that if we bought the tires elsewhere, that would be fine, but the adaptive cruise control, exterior cameras, and a whole bunch of other sensors wouldn't work unless we had some sort of special alignment done to align the tires and recalibrate the sensors/cameras. The cost for the alignment and sensor updates would be around $800. Like idiots, we bought it. The tires we bought were rated for 60,000 miles, although they were shot after 30,000. Rather than deal with Infiiniti again, I went to Discount Tire to replace the tires. I had them install the new tires and everything works perfectly - cameras, adaptive cruise control, you name it - everything works just fine. To the dealer - please contact me if I am missing something here and I will remove or revise this post, but I feel we were lied to and totally screwed by the service department here. We are very disappointed in this place.
