| - I believe that if a restaurant is named after a famous breakfast treat, they better know how to make it well. That being said, this place doesn't disappoint. I ordered the Turkey Waffle Sandwich- a freshly made waffle, perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy in the inside, filled with layers of deli-style turkey slices, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and avocado, topped off with a clear sweet syrupy sauce. The ingredients are simple but work oh so well together. I fell in love with this sandwich from the first bite. The waffle and the sweet syrup are a match made in culinary heaven, and add on to it the savory turkey, slices of fresh lettuce and tomato, and the creamy avocado, and you've got yourself a seemingly odd concoction that tastes so good. Service is friendly, and while the wait may be long, I like to blame that on the "made to order" fact. The décor is modern, clean and simple, with bright colors.
At Waffles Café, you can have waffles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. How bad can that be?
