Slightly disappointed at my last visit, but I had really high expectations, and I still think this place is worthy of 5 stars!
The water station was mission from the cafe. Not sure if this was just bad timing or a permanent change.
The bigger disappointment was the reconfiguration of the play area. This museum used to be one of my go-to suggestions for places to take babies and toddlers because you could keep them quiet in a stroller/carrier long enough to see one or two galleries, then let them play with all the educational toys. And it was the perfect place for crawling babies with the low, wide platform steps in the play area. My kids absolutely loved it. Well, they took all of that fun stuff out, and put in a bunch of new virtual reality-type fun stuff instead. So it looks awesome for adults, and probably much better-suited to the elementary and middle school age crowd. But all they have left for the youngsters are a few books. Bummer.
