We have been using Cage Free for several months. My wife originally called them to explain that we were NOT interested in having our dog cut, only bathed, and her nails done...also the only exception to this rule was for them to keep her long eyebrows in check, Bunnie the receptionist, told her that Meghan loved to do our breed and that she would be excited about having our dog as a client. We took our dog there every two weeks, and each time she came home, her fur seemed to be a little bit shorter with each visit. She still looked fine to us despite this and we decided to not mention it to them. On her last scheduled visit our dog got sick and so we had to change the date for her appointment. Our regular groomer was not available and so they told us Char would be seeing her. When i dropped her off, I told them to brush her teeth and check her nails. I assumed that because she had been there numerous times that they already had NO HAIRCUT on my request list in my dog's file...there would be nothing different on this visit. Bunnie told my wife that her ticket to Char said to do a BATH AND BRUSH. Nothing else, because everyone there supposedly knew she was NEVER to be given a hair cut. When she got home my wife nearly had a heart attack! All of her long beautiful hair was gone. It was cut extremely close to her body and was about one half inch long except on her head and muzzle.
Obviously quality control and customer care are not part of their vocabulary. This is not a business to trust your beloved pet to for care.
