| - I have shopped here ever since my grandparents took me to this same store location 60 years ago. Much has changed over the years. One of the biggest came with the current manager who took over a number of years ago. They have a big store, with the capability of lots of room to move around in. Unfortunately I get more and more a feeling that they prefer to sell floor space to companies at the cost of a customer being able to move around the store. Many times they have the aisles so cluttered that only one cart can go down the aisle at a time. On my last visit a few days ago, you had to go through a maze of pallets just to enter the store, with the workers standing around talking. In the freezer aisle, they had about 20 feet of freezer space blocked with items to fill the freezers. I can understand that, but where was the worker doing the stocking? Nowhere in sight. Many times, they will have piles of empty boxes sitting in the aisles with no worker in sight. Why? How can they expect shoppers to get around the store? I have since started going to the ACME in Stow, it's a nice clean store, and I haven't seen the aisles cluttered up (at least not yet). I'm not sure if the main ACME makes all their Deli products, but I suspect each store does their own, such as Ham Salad, and items of that type. The ACME on Bailey road has really slipped on that quality. I can go to the one in Stow and get much better tasting Salads, and such. The one on Bailey is convenient yes, but the ones on State Rd. or in Stow are so much better.
