| - After a few trips abroad I learned that if I want to be nearly 100% sure that I will like my breakfast, the french cuisine is a way to go. And it works every time, this visit being no different.
Bardot Brasserie is a spacious, elegant restaurant located inside the Aria Hotel. They attracted me with their great brunch menu consisting of appetizing light starters, nice cheese selection and vast choice of breakfast dishes. And wines :). After carefull consideration, my fiance and I decided to share a desk of cheese as a kind of starter. They serve it with fresh bread and house mustard, seasonal jam and candied nuts on the side. The whole selection was very good and the mix of flavours suited us very well. Next, we ordered famous Hunter's waffles and french toast with mascarpone and almonds. The former was good, but not as exceptional as we thought it would, but the later, mmm... tasted heavenly. Not too sweet, crunchy but soft, just enough almond. And it was really big, definitely too much for one small person. The service was very professional and friendly, our waiter gave us some great advice.
It's a shame we visited that place on our last day, as if I had known it earlier I would gladly eat there more than once.
