  • My second trip to Madison this month and this time I stayed at the Hyatt. My favorite thing about this place was the staff; super friendly, helpful and on point. They helped me get where I was going, ("Oh that's not too far to walk at all.") and they helped me get back to the Hyatt at the end of the night (Literally. I was stuck in the pouring rain at the Kohl Center and I called the Hyatt. Tim to the rescue! He picked me up in his shuttle in a jiff and all was well. Stand-up guy, that Tim)! Now for the other deets. The rooms were OK - kind of a funky set up with a sofa to one side divided by a divider and then the bed. It wasn't horrible. The rooms are a little run down, and mine could have used a deep clean (I found a tortilla chip under the couch leg). They do have a free breakfast for everyone who stays there (bonus). A nice perk indeed. All in all, not a bad stay. Awesome staff, the rest not perfect but still solid.
