All of my classes have been with the energetic and infinitely patient Ms. Leah in the Scottsdale Baby Beats class... so far. We plan to continue.
At a little more than $17.50 a class ($230 for 13 weeks), this has become almost a greater investment than buying Apple stock before they launched the first iPod. Our baby girl loves the class and really seems to enjoy music now. Plus there is one song, that we learned in Musicology, we can play in the car when she's fussy and it calms her down. EVERY TIME.
Ms. Leah is the only teacher we've had. She's some kind of baby whisperer. Let's give a shout out for the baby whisperer! In the classes I've attended so far, there has been nary a meltdown. Ms. Leah just rolls with whatever happens with a smile and makes everyone feel welcome - even the ones of us who sing off key and have two left feet.
Classroom is OCD-level clean. They sanitize everything between classes. Musicology schedule is really flexible, as long as they have an opening, you can make up classes that you miss.
So you have a baby? Well, get over to Musicology, put on a name tag, take off your shoes (adults have to wear socks) and let go of your insecurities. Babies of various stages of development and adults in their life of various stages of musical talent are welcome here.
