I was very displeased with how management handled a mistake on their end. In June, I paid for my food, and was unknowingly given back the wrong credit card (I did not notice at first because PNC cards look identical to one another). I had just moved to the neighborhood and went to buy furniture the next day. My transaction was declined and this is when i noticed that the card had somebody else's name. I immediately called Elbow Room who could not have been less helpful or apologetic.
Since I am local, I went back to return the other person's card and cancelled mine. Even in person, the manager seemed to be preoccupied and could care less that his server had given my credit card to a stranger. A few days later, they called to tell me that my card has been returned and to come pick it up. They had no idea that I was local and that it may be inconvenient to keep running back and forth to this place. I expressed that this was a hassle to the manager especially with not being able to buy furniture in a new apartment. He offered to buy me a beer as if i were in the mood to sit down and have a drink at this place.
