I appreciate reading Reachel B.s review (and all the hidden reviews). When I left the office yesterday this was my suspicion. He said my daughter had 4 cavities but kind of snuck it in on me. Started talking about using gas on her before I even realized he was saying they needed to be filled. Other dentists will watch a cavity for a while before deciding it needs to be filled. A lot of times better brushing can stop a cavity from growing....no filling needed. The other issue is that these are baby teeth! Wasn't real excited about spending $300 to fill very small cavities on teeth that will be falling out anyway. My other concern was the pressure he placed on my kid's jaws and how wide he had them open. Having struggled with jaw problems myself, I watch for this.....haven't seen any other dentist have my kids open as wide as they possibly can and then apply so much pressure to their open jaw. My kids will be disappointed to give up the TVs on the ceiling and the prizes at the end. But we'll go elsewhere.
