  • I went to a Food Court and a baseball game broke out. This was my first visit to Chase Field, to see the Cubs play the Dbacks. I've been to a number of MLB parks and this was the worst experience by far. 1) It was 82 degrees at game time. Why was the roof closed?????? 2) I guess the air conditioning was on but it was really stuffy. 3) Not the fault of the Dbacks but I was amazed that not many people were into the game. So many people were on their phones or having (loud) conversations. There were few instances of cheering. 4) OK. I get it. There are a lot of food choices. Many people around us made multiple trips for food (upwards of 6!) and not having the courtesy to come and go between innings. On the plus side, our seats ($60 each) were decent. Just not much fun.
