This is a really cool place. We landed in Pittsburgh on the last leg of a four state road trip with our kids--ages 2 and 5--in tow. We added Pittsburgh at the last minute to break up the 10+ hour ride home, deciding we'd take in the Mister Rogers sights while our kids are in the stage of idolizing him. We didn't have a ton of time, so our tour of the Heinz Center was abbreviated. The Mister Rogers exhibit brought tears to my eyes. We also enjoyed walking through the rest of the Special Collection, the Heinz exhibit, and the fun stuff on the first floor. The space is so cool and well designed, and there is a ton of P'burgh memorabilia to stroll through (as well as some sports stuff that's worth a visit, if that's your thing). I also really liked the gift shop. All in all, a great way to spend a few hours. We can't wait to go back!
