A local soup, sandwich, salad, and quiche place that does it right! I had the meatloaf sandwich on marbled rye bread with a dill pickle ($9). The bread was homemade, soft and delicious all by itself. The meatloaf was a thick slab of moist (not at all crumbly) flavorful meat with a super ripe tomato and crunchy lettuce and mayo. The full sandwich is extremely filling.
My friend had quiche and homemade soup. She loved the flavors. There were some awesome looking lemon bars, scones, pies and other baked goods that we were too full to sample.
There are tables and chairs in two rooms and the place is super clean with some interesting local artwork on the walls. The staff was helpful and cheerful and looked like they enjoyed interacting with each other and the customers.
Parking is close to the door. I highly recommend giving this place a try! :-)
