  • I enjoyed my $6.99 steak & eggs at Ellis Island on a recent trip to Vegas. I had only recently heard of this place and their breakfast specials including the chicken fried chicken & eggs but I just had to get the steak & eggs and it hit the spot for sure. I ordered mine cooked medium, stayed with the country potatoes and white toast. The steak was decent cut sirloin. I think I would order medium rare next time as it was cooked more than I'd like towards the ends. I heard later on from cousins that frequent the place for this same special that they always order down as they tend to slightly overcook their steaks. Duly noted. But my meal was enjoyable nonetheless. The steak hit the spot. I enjoyed it with the provided A1 sauce. The country potatoes were fried crispy and were just the way I like it. Perfect with some ketchup. The toast was super buttered and I enjoyed it with my runny eggs. I was tempted to put some strawberry Smuckers on it as they had some on the table but it was great the way it was. I must say, they put a lot of butter on their toast. Service was attentive. We were checked on throughout the meal and our drinks were refilled without us having to ask. The hostess was friendly. Our wait time for that sunday brunch was about 20-25 mins for a party of 2. Free parking on their lot.
