| - Out of the Pamela's locations I have been to (Strip, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill), this is the winner. Everything was quite excellent and the food was the best as I have ordered the same item from all three diners.
Visited on a Monday morning. It was average, not completely busy but also not empty. This might have meant that I had better quality of food because the cook was not rushed. Also, other reviewers have stated that it is "dirty" when they are visiting on a weekend, the turnover for customers is crazy I doubt they have the chance to clean up the floor when they have such a breakfast/brunch rush!
Service: "Please Seat Yourself" the sign states. So we did! Soon after a gentleman came over with water and asked if we were ready to order. Yes we are! Very polite. Food was made quickly and brought out to us all at the same time.
Atmosphere: A lot of older customers were in here compared to any of the other locations I've been too. It was very clean and has a little more character with some of the seating being church pews.
Food: I ordered the cheese omelette which was perfect, alongside some lyonnaise potatoes and toast. The potatoes were perfect! I don't know what they did but they were so good I could have just eaten a bowl of those. Bread was slightly under-toasted, but with the speed that the food came out I'm not surprised so I cannot complain about that.
Drinks: I just had water, my father ordered coffee and he got a whole pot of it which was nice. I find it's hit and miss at Pamela's, sometimes the server leaves you a pot of coffee and other times not. It might possibly be due to how busy it is but I thought that was nice.
Price: No cheaper or more expensive than the other locations. You can have a meal for sub $7 if you do not order a drink (and just have water) which I think is an excellent deal!
Restrooms: Clean. Nothing special.
Overall: I would like to come back here in the future. Just like many of the other locations, parking is an issue (as it is on street) but this is nothing to do with the business itself. 5 stars, I like it.
