Sometimes I'm not sure what's considered as good customer service or pushy sales associates.
I've been to many Chapters and each time I've visited, a sales associate has never approached me offering help. I have always actively searched for staff when I required assistance. Accustomed to this type of service came the familiar reoccurring nonchalant, carefree Chapters affair each time I walked through their door.
Maybe this is why I was irritated each time an associate asked me if I needed help when I was on the computer. In reality, isn't this good customer service? Undoubtedly, I was looking for something hence why I was on the computer.
The excuses for my anxiety:
- it was an off-day
- hunger
- I was a library helper in grade school
I now commend this location's customer service. They offer service that is rare to any other Chapters I have been to.
