| - I'm from North York, so getting here was a trek for me. I was given a car 2 months ago, and it's running on its 14th's year, so I've been in and out of auto shops constantly just getting everything tuned up.
Before I brought my car to the last 3 places, I had had a friend (a mechanic at Audi) take a look (since I'm a stereotypical girl and don't know a THING about cars) to ensure I wasn't being ripped off. At every place, I was either being over-charged, or being told to replace things that were in PERFECT working condition. If you look at my Canadian Tire review, you'll see I was told my lights needed work when I had had the bulbs replaced an HOUR before.
Anyway, my boyfriend lives in Markham, and both he and his mother recommended this place. The staff were really nice, and I was called as soon as I could pick the car up. I find labour in general to be pretty pricey (especially after the one place that only charged $60/hour), but I found that it was worth the $109/hour since they were honest enough to tell me I didn't HAVE to get my parking brake done (which would've been an extra $300-$350).
All in all, pretty great customer service experience, my only issue was the slightly pricey labour cost, but hey, people need to get paid.
