  • Our Chevy Avalanche broke down as we were heading out of Tempe AZ to California last night. Bummer! We found Crawford Auto on YELP and had our truck towed there at 8pm and left them a note. At 7:15am the next morning Jeff called us and asked us to come in. :) Within the hour we had a diagnosis (parking break broke and damaged the rear break drum - kinda weird) They set the expectation that we'd be done at 5pm (had to get parts) but had it done by 2:30 and we were able to get out of town before rush hour. We had some questions about our rear end differential, so they looked that over and put in synthetic oil since we are towing a heavy trailer. We had questions about towing a trailer and our motor. I was impressed that they spent the time to answer every question we had and offered us suggestions about affordable options to prevent over heating the Avalanche differential. I would recommend Crawford and will recommend them to friends in the Phoenix area.
