  • Spa experience only. We were in town for a girls weekend and rented a house in Scottsdale. But, after our experience here, we'd definitely make the effort to stay at this hotel and spa next time. 4 of us made spa appointments. We used groupon (and even a coupon on groupon) to get a great deal on a 50 minute massage. We enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. The front desk check in was friendly and answered all our questions. The lobby is small but very pretty, but the view of the boulders is the showstopper. The locker rooms were spacious, well appointed, and clean. I also used the showers after my spa day and it was so convenient to shower there and walk out ready for the evening. The massage therapist was great. I don't remember her name, just that she was tall and from Poland. She was great and listened to my concern about my right shoulder. She also wasn't chatty, which I appreciated. My sisters and our friend also all loved their massages. My sister's manicure started chipping quickly which was frustrating for her. Three of us spent time in the adult only pool while my sister got a mani-pedi. The pool is wonderful. It's directly below the boulders and the scenery is amazing. It has all the amenities you'd expect: towels, lots of lounge chairs, staff taking food and drink orders. The spa has a few other interesting features such as the teepee, labyrinth, organic garden etc... Overall, I would absolutely come back here and plan to spend a whole day even if I only get a 50 minute massage.
