This place looks like it should be called 'Cell Block D' not Sam's Market and Liquor. But despite its rough prison-esque exterior, Sam's is a great place to shop if you're looking to purchase the finest liquor money can buy. Okay, maybe not the finest, but then again, I'm not sure how you rank Old English 40's.
I've noticed that a lot of people go here, and while it's never packed, there's always one or two people perusing the aisles. It's very convenient for those days when you get off of the 101 at McDowell and just cruise right over to Sam's for an 18-pack on your way home from work. Perhaps grab a bag of chips while you're there.
Other than that, save your fine wine and spirit purchases for other establishments, and leave the beer and cheap hard liquor nights for Sam's.
