Around lunchtime today my husband and I ate for the first time at Blue Line Grille. Upon arriving, we did not have to wait for a table. The interior of the restaurant was designed fairly well. The waitress was friendly, served food promptly, and gave us a few drink refills. The food was acceptable for a restaurant and good for a bar (much better than the nearby Tailgaters). The Montreal Poutine Frites were not nearly as good as poutine that I have had in actual Montreal. The fries, cheese, and gravy did not really go together. Maybe the chef could add more cheese and make sure that it is gooier and not too solid, and he or she could use a different gravy. The boneless chicken wings with whole grain honey mustard sauce had a little bit of a funny taste. Maybe the chef could modify the sauce ingredients a bit. Our caesar salads with sourdough croutons and shaved parmesan tasted fine, although my husband ended up not liking his extra anchovies. My husband's lobster roll had a decent amount of lobster meat but had way too many chives. In the future the chef should keep the same amount of lobster but reduce the amount of chives. Overall, the food was OK, but I would recommend that the chef tweak the recipes a bit. I live nearby and will be returning to this restaurant to try some of their other appetizers and entrees (and maybe a dessert...!). I know that this restaurant is new, and I am rooting for it to be successful.
