  • Upscale french bakery - Nadege of the North! Quick review - I am a huge fan of french pastries and desserts where I loved to make trek to spots like Nadege downtown. However, living in Markham poses some challenges it is quite far from the core. This was a surprising pleasant find in Markham - we tried the croissant, chestnut tart and raspberry tart. Wow - all were amaizing. Croissant was crispy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. Chestnut tart has a creamy filling which was not too sweet. But my favorite was the raspberry tart with pistachio filling. Great spot for french pasteries without going downtown!
