I've stayed in a number of MGM Properties in Vegas and I have to admit, I really liked the Monte Carlo. Initially, I expected to hate it so I was pleasantly surprised.
it is kind of crazy getting to and from the hotel due to all of the construction but it's really not that big of a deal. We didn't hear the construction from our rooms so that was a plus.
I even really liked the casino- it isn't huge but Mom and i managed to spend twelve straight hours gambling here and we didn't go broke or get bored. That rarely happens.
Overall, it was a good value for the price but you won't be "wowed" like you would at some of the other Vegas properties like Wynn or Pallazo.
