I booked them for a wedding party. They told us it would be 55.00 + 3.00 fuel charge per hour. We needed it for 3 hours and gave them our times. 2pm pick up -- 5pm drop off. A charge of 174.00 appeared on our credit card along with a confirmation in my mail box. I checked a few days ago and they'd billed me twice. I called in thinking it was just a clerical error although with 14.9% unemployment you'd think every employee would be on the top of their game. This was on 10/14/2010. I spoke with someone in their accounting dept who assured me that I had agreed to 6 hours not 3. Now I know I'm old but when it comes to my hard earned money, I am not that old. After 10 minutes of talking to a brick wall I asked for a supervisor only to be told there weren't any on duty. Sure. Right. She "assured" me that as soon as her general manager got in they would call me. It's now 10/16 and no call. Perhaps I should check at Wynn where no doubt the GM is parlaying my extra $174.00 into a big ol' bonus.
To top it off..when the van dropped us of, we were about 35 minutes over. I gave the driver 100.00 and told him to apply whatever it was to the extra time and the rest was his tip. HAD we actually been booked for 6 hours don't you think he would have known that? No. I got a receipt from him. It says 3.30 hours.
Trust me, had i known I was going to have to foot the bill for an extra 3 hours..we'd of gone bar hopping and screw the reception.
Epic fail for not telling us the 6 hours. For sending the confirmation for 3 hours and biggest epic fail for no one calling me back.
No wonder people kvetch about service in this town.
