If you go to Dr. Cooper, make sure you verify with your own insurance that he is in-network before scheduling an appointment. His office people may not check for you. I called to verify mine was, and was given wrong information, which led me to getting billed for way more than what I would have paid if I was in-network.
Fortunately, Dr. Cooper made things right once I explained the situation, so everything worked out OK. He actually went out of his way to make sure the situation was fair, so I definitely appreciated that. That's not something I expected. It shows he cares about patients and not just money. He is a good dentist and my experience with him in the office was pleasant, it was just a bit frustrating to have to deal with the billing issue. I'd recommend him for dental care, but make sure you have your insurance sorted out.
