  • I'm actually being quite nice for giving them 4/5 because of the mediocre service. Came here on a Saturday morning , so there was a bit of a wait (around 25-30 min.) but I didn't mind. Atmosphere-wise , I love the charm this place has , just exactly what downtown needs :) It's located across Container Park so it's a pretty popular spot. Food-wise , I already had my heart set on the cinnamon biscuits (w/ strawberry compote and powdered sugar) 8$. I don't think I ever had biscuits in my life but this is probably my new favorite breakfast food. The strawberry compote wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. DEFINITELY ORDER THIS. My friend who recommended this place to me also told me to order the truffled egg sandwich 12$. It was super good , everything was put together well. The scrambled eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly , and the mushrooms and feta cheese complimented the sandwich well. The chive potatoes were great , but taste better with the hot sauces provided on the side. If you don't like breakfast foods , they have soups , salads, and sandwiches available. Service-wise , hostess was very kind and she reminded us of the breakfast specials today. Our server Roberto on the other hand , not so much. I don't like bagging on servers but we just got the vibe from him that he felt disinterested the whole time. Right after we were seated , he jotted down our orders and that was the last time we saw him. At least our food came out quick but he never checked up on us , asked how was our food , or any refills. Literally three different people asked me in less than a span of 5 min just to ask if I was done with my potatoes although I was still eating them and even had a fork in my hand. Three people can ask me if I'm done with my plate , but not notice my glass is empty. If you're looking for a breakfast place , I recommend this place because the food was excellent. Best breakfast I had in a long time. Just don't have high expectations about service. Also note , when it's busy they will only accept one credit card. Hostess offered to split the bill in half for two cards though.
