  • King's Drive Farmer's Market is conveniently located with nice weekend hours and satisfying variety. Situated in South End, just five minutes from Uptown, Kings Drive Farmer's Market is perfect for strolling around with a friend or lover on Friday night and finding a different or unusual item to center dinner around. The evening I went I stocked up on giant, beautiful, mouthwatering Concord and Scuppernong grapes, and selected some just-picked okra for late-summer...okay, early fall grilling. The personnel working at the market were knowledgeable and friendly. There was quite a crowd but there was hardly any wait. The produce was so beautiful, so fresh, and so enticing I could have selected any item and been super pleased with my cooking results. King's Drive Farmer's Market has a pretty big pumpkin patch going on right now so make sure to head on our there with your kiddies before Halloween for some siiiick Jack-o'-lantern action. (Sooo didn't realize there was an apostrophe in Jack-o'-lantern! Autocorrect IS good for something!!).
