rev:text	ive been using hertz and avis for the last 15 years.. consistantly.. i used to travel 100 percent of the time and well quite frankly grew to love hertz for their service.. on a whim.. i wanted to try someone else.. and quickly realized what a horrible mistake i made. I reserved my car online, flying into vegas.. reserved a "convertible".. got to the rental center and quickly found payless. the lady looked at me and said how about an upgrade.. "ok" i said. 30 minutes later (no kidding). she was finally giving me the paperwork.. i looked down and the price.. and it was drastically different than what i was quoted online.. i looked at her and said.. oh im not paying for an upgrade.. just give me what i originally ordered... she said "ok but that pt cruizer convert. is a piece of junk". 30 minutes later.... she looks at me and says well i dont have any in stock.. i can send you out in "this car" and have someone come out and exchange it again for you.. Your wasting my time lady.. forget it ... cancel the reservation.. so she said "ok"... 30 minutes later... i finally got a signed cancellation.. walked away from the counter and straight to the hertz gold counter... said.. im sorry. i didnt make a reservation like i usually do.. can you just give me the cheapest car you have? sure.. mr. verinder.. less than 5 minutes later i drove away in a mazda 3 with 1 mile on the speedo... gotta love the gold counter at Hertz... as for Payless.. you idiots. i rarely give others the chance to earn my biz.. you proved how well hertz really does take care of its people. of course.. if had just went to yelp first... i would have known never to venture that way at all. :)
