When you are looking for a Parisien flavor both in the food as well as the ambiance, Zinc should be on your short list.
My last experience was a positive one but that was almost 2 years ago. My son and I dined here a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed our evening.
The menu is comprised of a very good collection of French favorites ranging from croque Monsieur and croque Madame to chateaubriand for two.
We opted for the chateaubriand which is offered as a 4 course prix fixe.
The meat was excellent. Prior to the entree we were served French Onion soup which was delicious.
We chose the chocolate meringue as our dessert. This was the weak link in this set menu. There was nothing meringuey about it. More of a molten chocolate filled cup cake in a small bowl.
Service was quite good. Frankie, our server, was friendly and knowledgeable.
Be prepared to pay Champs Elysee prices.
