| - I was unexpectedly given a ticket to see Father John Misty performing at the Orpheum Theater last October. It was my first time attending the venue, and my first time seeing his show. Both the venue and the performance were fantastic! In my opinion, the show's venue can make all of the difference in the world in the overall event. The Orpheum Theater has a rich ambiance, a unique design layout, and killer lighting. I love the lights when used in a performance, the lights were beautiful, spot on during the entire show, creative, and stimulating, which added so much to the experience for me. Plus, the drink prices were totally reasonable. I ordered a whiskey and coke for my boyfriend-the whiskey they had on hand was Crown (they only had Pepsi products at the time I went-I don't know if that's always the case, regardless we didn't really care), and it cost something like $7 or $8. Totally reasonable-if you ask me.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I really dig the venue. Def recommend
