  • Where do you go when you've been to all of the high end Vegas spas and want to try something new? You schlep it over to Qua at Caesar's Palace. I've never stayed at the hotel, but I was lucky enough to try the spa today. I loved it. The hot tub was super hot (loved it), the heated loungers were relaxing, the tea room was the perfect place to cozy up with a mag or two and just relax. I even checked out the arctic ice room, and sat down and froze my ass off for a good 5 minutes. Steam and sauna rooms were standard, as were the showers and toiletries. At a place like Qua, you know the services aren't going to be "worth" the money per se. A $170, 50 min. massage? Hmm. It's going to be mediocre and will be over before it even starts! When this is the case, I try to risk disappointment by going big. I get some sort of fancy 2 hour treatment that costs more but lasts much longer. In today's case, that was the Qua Mystic Journey, which was lovely. It included a scrub, facial, massage, and some extra special TLC for my skin woes. So relaxing. I left bleary eyed and totally zen. Why four stars? The prices are ridiculous. With 20% tip (which these people rightfully deserve), my Mystic Journey cost a small fortune. I signed off on the big tip, crumpled the receipt and just enjoyed my time here.
