I remember seeing a review where the guy said
" Anyone who rate this place under 5 stars doesn't know what he is talking about"
I totally agree with him although .. every one is entitled to their opinion ...
I think 65$ for this insane amount of food ... created by a well know chef .!!! Is a steal .!!!
From my first visit in 2011 .. i have only missed 2 years ... and i intent to go every year .!!! I also happen to like foie gras ... and what better place for foie gras than at PDC?
So let me get back to the 65$ menu ... 14 dishes in total .. and what you can not finish ( who could? )
They encourage you to take left overs home ... they supply the dishes .!!
14 courses of insane amount of food.... am sure one day i will end up in a food coma.!!!
I don't know what i prefer the most ... the maple sirup hommage cabane a sucre ... or the apples / apple cider.... season .... which they held from august to October.
To any and every foodie out there ... is not a question of its for you or not ...IT'S A MUST .!!!
Where else have you seen that the reservation is an event on it self?
You need to plan your visit 4 to 5 months ahead .!!!
I too think this place doesn't deserve anything less than 5 stars ...
Chef Martin Piccard ( when there ) is always very friendly and open to pictures .!!!!
This place and a very few more deserve the total of 5 stars and nothing less !!!!
