  • I first started coming here in the early 90's. Used to come by once or twice a month for lunch. The last time I was here was some time in 2009. Today my wife and I were in the neighborhood and the sign caught my eye. I was excited to come in again. "WAS" Beautiful day so we decided to sit outside. Abouot 7 or 8 tables out on the patio. All were dirty, some still with plates on them. All had crumbs and small bits of food, most all had ashes on them. We picked the cleanest one and wiped it and cleaned it ourselves. Waitress came and we both ordered good-rare roast beef. The kind we remebered from NY. My kaiser roll was dry and crumbly-falling apart. Should have chosen the rye like my wife-can't beat it. Went to put pepper on the sandwich and had to get a pepper shaker from another table that wasn't dirty. Found one after the fourth table. Sorry Scott! Used to LOVE coming here. Was very dissapointed. I'll probably come back, but no way I can get the wife back. Great food, just need to "clean up" a little.
