I've eaten at this particular location several times as the W is my go to hotel when I used to visit Phoenix and it's always been consistent. Now that I'm a Phoenix resident, I've decided to take advantage of their happy hour anytime I'm in the area.
What I like most about this restaurant besides the delicious tasting sushi is that a business traveler can get in and out of this restaurant fairly quickly in between meetings. What I mean by that is if you're staying at the W and want breakfast, this restaurant converts to that. When it's time for lunch and dinner it turns into Sushi Roku.
Staff is great here, always friendly. There are a variety of rolls and the best thing about the sushi here is that the portions are big and you never leave hungry. Try the Truffle Tempura, the tuna jalapeƱo and if you can't make up your mind just order the Chef's Special and you get a good variety of fresh and creatively prepared sushi. The key word here is fresh. Everything is delicious.
Little tip, if you aren't craving sushi and have a bigger budget, try the filet mignon. It's really yummy and at medium rare, it's prepared to perfection.
