  • My 15 yr old needs braces! After getting a quote of $4,200 from a local orthodontist we were beside ourselves!! Then we noticed the smiledirect commercials and thought, lets check it out. We got the impressions kit through the mail, minimal cost mind you when you enter the discount code but had issues getting the impressions right since were NOT in the dental field of employment. After calling Smiledirect, who btw is super nice and helpful, we surprisingly discover smiledirect has opened a location here, in vegas!! Specifically for impressions!! We get an address and go only to discover they are located in Sola Salons. Interesting as this is a hair salon. Sure enough, they are in there and have a few stalls. All stalls have doors and there is privacy. The experience was great! Nikki helped us, went thru the smiledirect kit my son would receive and thoroughly explained everything to expect. She re-did his photos, did the mouth impressions, which were digital, and made us feel comfortable. Then Josh came in to make sure all was good! While this is a location only for impressions and photos it re-assured us the orthodontist making the mouth liners would have accuracy! And their cost is seriously half the cost of the orthodontist and reasonable payments of $80 per month!!! While Quinn hasn't gotten his kit yet, we are excited to see the results and WILL yelp them. So far, smiledirect is spot on!! My son and i left there smiling and he even said, "mom, that was surprisingly fun!"
