Can remember when a friend rented the upstairs flat in the house next door to this place when the bar first opened, over 20 years ago. Too many swells and sophisticates and bananas foster action now. I hope they are paying the elderly musicians handsomely because they are well worth it. The rest of this, not so sure. We can go to Sokolowski's on Literary Avenue and get a meal and a beer for the price of one of their cocktails, but they are crafty because they know how to separate a fool from his money. When they first opened there used to be hobo's doing their hobo thing in the doorways outside. Amazing they are still around at all, almost worth two stars for that alone.
