  • My boyfriend and I are regulars at New Amsterdam. They have a fantastic staff of friendly and efficient servers along with great happy hour food specials and healthy/ vegetarian options. They play excellent music (lots of soul, funk, classic rock, punk) and frequently change the artwork on the walls. Definitely a hipster vibe but not in a pretentious or overly clichéd manner. Unlike some other places in gentrified Lawrenceville, New Amsterdam doesn't push "trendiness" to obnoxious levels.
