  • This is a great and classy hotel in the downtown area of Phoenix. We arrived in the morning of the 17th of September but we were able to check in anyway. Unlike reported by Janaya below, the rooms are more than spacious and very comfortable. They even have a small fridge which is nice to have so you can cool drinks. Complaining about the size of the rooms is unrealistic and disrespectful. Our room was facing north and it had a fantastic view. The bathroom was pretty big but it did not have a fan. The hotel has 34 floors with about 40 rooms on each floor so it must have at least 1000 rooms which are are all private. They are somewhat soundproof so bring ear plugs to filter out the idiots that talk loud at 6:30AM (I heard some stupid and inconsiderate woman at that time the first morning ... nothing the hotel or you can do about it so I cursed the bitch). The hotel has a cafĂ© and a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner but my girlfriend and I did not try them. On the first floor there is also a convenience store where you can buy a variety of things, including souvenirs. The hotel has a fitness center and two pools on the 4th floor. One of the pools is small and heated. The big one is heated by the Sun all day. The pool area is open from 5AM to 11 PM. I tried both pools at 10PM the night before leaving and they were great. Complimentary water is provided in the rooms, on the first floor and by the pools. However, it looks as if the water downstairs appears only in the afternoon or later in the day. The weather in the Phoenix area is often in the triple digits so it's nice to have water which is also precious so don't waste it. I really liked this place. I stayed in the hotel with my girlfriend for two nights for a total of $350 (including taxes). The only complaint I have about the place is that the bed sheets in our room were not ironed and I noticed a lot of wrinkles. They certainly do not leave a good impression, especially in a classy hotel like a Sheraton hotel.
