  • I love living at the Venue. The location is convenient... only 5 minutes to Uptown/Metropolitan and 10 minutes to SouthPark. The Elizabeth neighborhood is great...very quiet and beautiful tree lined streets. The neighborhood is awesome for walking the dog (and Venue also has their own enclosed Dog Park). The neighbors here are pretty diverse (younger to older) and everyone is nice. The grounds and landscaping are immaculate...it is like living in a resort. The clubroom/cafĂ© is beautiful and there is a theatre room too. Nice gym...small and limited equipment. Beautiful pool...but small. The apartment itself is amazing. The quality and finishes are much better than a condo. 9 foot ceilings are great (adds so much to the feeling of spaciousness). Beautiful plank flooring, marble counters with square cut sinks, tile backsplash, ceiling fans, hi-end appliances (love the Whirlpool Duet washer/dryer)...I couldn't ask for more. Some people have commented on the noise level. I do hear my neighbor upstairs occasionally but it is not bothersome. I live on a courtyard so the outdoor noise is minimal. 7th Avenue is very busy so I am sure those people on that side might be bothered. There are train tracks a few blocks away near Weddington. There are probably only a handful of trains coming by everyday...it does not bother me. I looked at dozens of apartments before settling on Venue and I am glad I did. It is an amazing value in Charlotte.
